Robert J. Weber
Rob is co-founder of W3i, parent company of Freeze.com. Through Rob's leadership, Freeze became the 31st fastest growing company in the US for 2003 (according to the June edition of Entrepreneur Magazine and D&B). Utilizing retained earnings, and with minimal start-up capital, Rob has been instrumental in organically growing Freeze.com into the category leader for online distribution of consumer entertainment downloads.
For his work on one of the company's previous subsidiaries, Free Stuff Center, Rob shared the Minnesota Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year Award with his partner and twin brother, Ryan Weber, and was runner-up for North American Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. Rob established his first site in 1995. Since then, he has bought, sold and developed hundreds of Web sites. Notables include Ad Cycle, a banner exchange that was sold in August of 1998, and Clip-Art.com. In the late 90's Rob also maintained an online promotion consulting service known as 1 Web Site Promotions.
